Yacoob's Transport has been in operation since 1995 and comprises of two members, Yacoob Dhoda and Zakia Dhoda. It served primarily the entire refrigerated transport needs of Nestle S.A, Pietermaritzburg branch. It thereafter expanded serving other clients such as Unifood S.A and Clover. The company still operates on a principle of the best possible personal service, at a very competitive market related price. We are based 50KM from Durban on the main freeway between Johannesburg and Durban. One of our main advantage being at this location is that the vehicles come into our depot every other day and any problem can be attended to immediately whether driver or vehicle related.

Presently the vehicles are serviced by Freightliner which is approximately 10KM from Durban. Trailers are maintained by Serco which is about 15KM from Durban. We have a very good relationship with the suppliers of our vehicles and trailers. Freightliner for trucks, Grenco for fridge and Serco for trailers. Normally it takes us six weeks to get a new truck and trailer into operation from order and because of our close relationship they assist us with their rentals or demos in the interim whilst waiting for our new rigs.
